Rules for ENTRY TO SIMILIPAL
Visitors will allow to enter the Similipal National park Either from PITTHA-BATA Gate through Baripada or from KALIANI Gate through Jashipur .
Entry permission will not allow any other gate, Way or Road connected to Similipal.
Tourists may entry to Similipal by online depositing or offline manually Rs 100/person; Rs 100/Vehicle and camera permit as specified by forest department.
Entry permits to Similipal through online , Bio- data of all visitors, Details of vehicle, Driver’s Bio-data, Driving license is mandatory.
Visitors may do Offline Entry permit in manually between 6AM to 9 AM.
Only 25 vehicles through Pithabata Entry Gate and 35 vehicles allowed through Kalika Prasad Entry Gate every day from 1ST November to 15th June.
Entry permit to Similipal will not allow in bad weather/ rainy day the may or Dis-allowed due to unsafe driving in muddy, slippery & hilly road.
You may visit Similipal with your own personal or on hiring vehicle four wheeler light vehicle with more than 180mm ground clearance.
Permission not allow to Car (with or less than 180mm ground clearance), two wheelers, & three wheeler Similarly Permission not allow to heavy vehicles (Bus, Truck) to entry into Similipal.
Non-veg and Carring or taking of Alcohol is prohibited inside national park.Night driving is Strictly Prohibited in the Park. All visitors shall exit the park before Sunset through nearest check gate. Either at TULSI-BANI or at PITTHA-BATA which is nearest to their sunset position. Carrying Plastic carry bags, thermocool utensil, fire arms not allow to Similipal National Park.
Picnic , cooking food, lighting fire,loud-speaker, blow horn, not allow inside Similipal National Park.
One Tourist Guide is compulsory accompanied provided by the forest department who may charges about Rs 500/-.
All mobile networks may interrupt inside national park as a result outgoing and incoming call not possible. Mobile network signal available in some specific places inside national park those places are known to tourist guide. Best to switch off mobile phone during travel for un-neccessary consumption of battary.
